How to remove family/parents

I'm new to the registrar position in my group this year, and I'm having trouble editing the details of one child participant; I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction as I can't find the info on the my scouts online support centre.

This child previously had 2 different parents listed in his profile than he currently does this year. The system let me enter in his new parents but will not let me remove the old ones when renewing his membership. I went ahead and registered him with the 4 just to get his registration in, but how do I remove the 2 (previous) parents showing under his 'My Family' tab?

Think the only way for them to be removed is to send to help desk or council registrar ... don't think it's possible to fix at Group level

For one of mine, I just edited the existing parent accounts with the information that was given (Had one that was showing the Aunt as the parent, and the parent was in the emergency contacts as the Aunt)
