Is there a place for atheism in Scouting?

What surprised you?

Hm, this thread was very interesting for me as I never thought about the religion in the sphere of scouting. My boy is preparing to be a scout so I'm just reading information about scouting and when I stumbled upon this thread I was pretty much surprised. Thanks for sharing your opinions here though, it was really very interesting to follow.
