Any Colony Content links out there?

I was wondering if any of you out there have any other links to good programming content for beavers other than
program builder http://pbo.scouts.ca/pol/home.do
leader handbook.http://www.scouts.ca/dnn/scouters/ProgramResources/LeaderHandbooks/tabid/2558/Default.aspx

If so, please reply to this post and share the link.

Thanks
Guy

Re: Any Colony Content links out there?

I don't have any links specific to Colony, but what has really helped us is picking a theme (or two) for each year, and then searching online for pre-school crafts/games to go with that theme. Last year we did Olympics, so we did a lot of sports related things, we had our own summer and winter olympics, went swimming, we made Olympic torches, participated in the local torch run, made medals, made passports, learned about other countries, etc.
This year our colony is doing Animals. They have visited a farm, had therapy dogs for a visit, will visit the K9 unit, the zoo, they are doing a humane society pet food drive, etc.., along with bird feeder crafts, animal puppets, etc..

I agree, having documents like the ones on the two sites are REALLY helpful. You'll see from ours that we are still missing some nights.

Attached is our Jan - June tentative plan. I can attach the other two that I have later. If others would upload their plans or show links to them, that would help me a lot too.
