Leave No Trace
Are there any other Leave No Trace trainers on here? I took the trainer course over a weekend in April just outside Halifax with 4 other leaders from the Maritimes and one from Newfoundland.
I have done 3 sessions with packs and troops and this is a great subject to cover and if you stretch it out it can be done over a few meetings or even better at a camp. There is plenty of info available on the internet to develope a plan to cover the seven principals.
Scouts Canada has a link on the website and myself and a few other trainers are developing some one page notes with ideas and concepts for both youth and leaders. I would anticipate the information to be on the Scouts Canada website for download once we are finished.
If anyone has any Leave No Trace questions feel free to ask.
