Help me volunteer in South Africa

Dear Scouters,
This August, I will be travelling to South Africa as a member of Scouts Canada's international development project taking place in Mafikeng, Northwest Province. Here, I will be working on a team of Canadian and South African Scouts and volunteers to build rainwater reservoirs and community food gardens. All of this will help achieve the first of the Millennium Development Goals of the United Nations: to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.
In order to tackle this issue, and be part of this dynamic team of young Canadians, I need your help. Please get involved in this project by donating funds in either my name, or directing your donation to any of the particular expenses of the project.
You can also read more at our donations website: http://www.defendingmafikeng.com.
Thank you so much for your support! Your donation will go towards bringing a sustainable supply of food and fresh water to South Africa, helping to eradicate global poverty.
Sincerely,
Brandon Scott
