Ahuntsic (Montreal) train station parking lot safety?

My Venturers are doing a whitewater canoe trip on the Batiscan River in Quebec, we have been thinking that driving from Merrickville (south of Ottawa) to Montreal and picking up the Batiscan train at the Ahuntsic station. This looks to be the most economical and easiest plan. Though it does involve departing from Merrickville rather early in the morning.

My question is whether any Montreal residents reading this believe it would be safe to leave two trucks and a canoe trailer at this station for a week. Would they still be there when we returned? Unfortunately Montreal is known to be a car theft capital.
