Print Tax Credit Receipts From MMS?

That would be a really wonderful feature.

This would only provide a receipt for the registration fee paid at the beginning of the year. It is possible that other expenses paid throughout the year are eligible. However, this does need to be investigated.

Our Group produces the receipt for registration fees received. Nothing says we can't produce receipts for other expenses paid (ie. dues, camps, etc)...but they likely won't qualify for the Tax Credit. No harm in trying though.

The CRA excludes the costs associated for meals, lodging, etc. from being claimed. Most if not all of your camp fees do not qualify for the Child Fitness Tax Credit.

Canada Revenue Agency wrote:Registration and membership fees include the costs of administration, instruction, and the rental of facilities. If part of the fees paid by parents is for accommodation, travel, food, or beverages (e.g., room and board at a fitness camp), then this part must be subtracted from the total registration and membership fee paid to the organization.
I'm an INTP. What are you?

Re: Print Tax Credit Receipts From MMS?

I would agree with your "most" statement but since the CRA allows the rental of facilities I suppose that that would be something that camp fees would cover. What about weekly dues? I guess groups would have to know what percentage is being spent on what and what is being covered by fundraising as opposed to direct payment.

Of course the amount is probably so small is it even worth creating a receipt. On the other hand some groups are extremely active and the portion of fees that are eligible could be as much, or more than the annual registration fee.
