That is a very cool device. I would like to have one when they come to Canada(its free after all).

Roomer has it that we will be selling popcorn online fall 2012.

At the National Summit 6 weeks ago, Trails End gave a presentation on some new technology coming out.

The one that will be coming the next time round is the personal page for each youth member, which they can email out to friends and family to purchase from. The youth gets credited with the sale, and the popcorn is shipped to the customer. This was used in the States, and provided great results.

The next one is the one the original poster described, the cell phone based credit card processing. Trails End is looking into this, but made no promise to get it ready for the next popcorn cycle.

I believe it's in development right now - product wise I don't believe there's anything major - same basic product lineup - the question is mostly just timing - when will the site / CC swiper go live.

Dlincourt, I didn't catch any talk about the actual product, but that's not to say there wasn't anything said. Missed out on the separate popcorn meeting during the Commissioner's Roundtable section.
