International Peace Light

Following the article on page 29 of the October Issue of Scouting Life, I want to bereak a serious lance for "Sharing the International Peace Light". The Peace Light will arrive in Toronto in December and there is at least one Scouting Group that participates. PLEASE, please, contact Ross Francis, rfrancis@scouts.ca , if you want to have your group participate in a really meaningful Christmas experience. I am positive that there are also ways that the Peace Light can eventually reach other parts of Canada if that is not already the case. We do it all over Europe now, and I first received the Peac Light to share at Christmas 2007, but was unable to get it to my Youth in time because it was so late that year. In December 2008 the kids actually went and received the Peace Light themselves. Plans are again being made to share the Peace Light this Christmas.
IF YOU REALLY want to share in this experience, the time to contact Ross Francis is NOW, don't wait until it becomes to late to include your group in the experience. Ross Francis will put you in touch with the Toronto Scouting Group that is involved with sharing the Peace Light.

@EDIT: I know the following wbsite is in the Dutch language, http://www.vredeslicht.nl/index.php/component/content/article/41-frontpage/48-vredeslicht-manifestatie-2008-geslaagd , but if you click on "fotoalbum" you can "taste" some of the atmosphere when the Peace Light was delivered here from Austria last Christmas.
